Decorative Stone Delivery in Syracuse NY This Fall: Get It Delivered Before Winter

October is one of the smartest times to finish the stone work you've been thinking about all year. A load of stone spread now is one less project waiting for you in April, and it's already in place when the snow melts. Here at Clifton Recycling, we offer easy pickup or delivery.

Why Decorative Stone Delivery in Syracuse NY This Fall Makes Sense

Getting stone installed before the ground firms up also makes the job easier. Grading, digging edges, and compacting a base layer are all simpler while the soil is still workable.

With bulk delivery, you're not hauling bag after bag from the store. The truck drops a full load where you need it, and you get to work.

Fall Stone Projects Worth Finishing Now

Drainage fixes before the spring melt. If you've got a low spot that turns into a puddle every March, fall is the time to deal with it. Clean stones like our #3/4 Mixed, #2 Grey Round Washed Rock, and Pea Gravel are all good for drainage and still look sharp when they're visible in the landscape.

Walkways and pet areas. A1 Stone Chip works as a top dressing for walkways, garden paths, and pet areas. Put it down now and you'll have a cleaner path to walk through all winter.

Decorative beds and borders. For color and texture, St Lawrence Granite is a multi-colored crushed granite with a bit of sparkle, and #2 Red Round Rock adds a warm red tone that stands out against snow and bare branches.

Driveway patching before plow season. Potholes and soft spots in a stone driveway only get worse once plows start scraping. Our Driveway Stone (crushed limestone, about ¾" to fine) and Run of Crush are both used for patching stone driveways and building a solid base.

Erosion control. Gabion Stone (Rip Rap) is 5" plus and made for ditches and erosion baskets, which is exactly where fall rain tends to cause trouble.

Boulders for a statement piece. Our Clay yard carries boulders from 1 to 2.5 feet in diameter. Call for pricing and specifics.

Note: Gabion Stone and Boulder deliveries require the property owner to sign a delivery waiver.

How Our Delivery Works

Clifton Recycling has been a family owned, locally operated Syracuse garden center supplier since 1991, and we run our own trucks out of two yards: Court Street in Syracuse and Route 31 in Clay. That lets us cover a wide stretch of Central New York, including Syracuse, North Syracuse, Clay, Cicero, Brewerton, Central Square, and Bridgeport.

Not sure how much stone you need or which type fits your project? Give either location a call. Our team can talk through what you're planning and help you order the right amount so you're not stuck short halfway through the job.

Prefer to pick it up yourself? Both yards offer pickup too.

Schedule Your Stone Before the Ground Freezes
